what is magnetic separation used for?

Quartz sand can be divided into ordinary quartz sand, refined quartz sand, high-purity quartz sand and fused silica sand according to its quality.

Quartz is one of the most widely distributed minerals on the earth's surface. There are many types of quartz, such as vein quartz, quartz sand, quartzite, sandstone, silica, opal, diatomaceous earth used in daily-use ceramic materials. It is a substance that is "the same as the mother's womb" with ordinary sand and crystal.

When the crystal of silica is perfect, it is crystal. After the silica gel is dehydrated, it is agate. The colloid of water containing silica is solidified and becomes opal.

When the silica grains are less than a few microns, they form chalcedony, vermiculite and secondary quartzite.

Its use is also quite extensive. In the Stone Age, people used it to make simple production tools such as stone axes and stone arrows to hunt for food and fight against enemies.

Piezoelectric quartz plates are used as standard frequencies in quartz clocks and electronic equipment. The glass produced by melting can be used to make optical instruments, glasses, glass tubes and other products.

It can also be used as a raw material for precision instruments such as bearings, abrasive materials, and glass ceramics.

1. Ordinary quartz sand
SiO2 ≥ 90~99%, FeO ≤0.06~0.02%, and refractoriness 1750~1800°C. The appearance is large in size and has a yellow skin on the surface. The particle size range is 5~220 mesh, which can be produced according to the user's requirements.
Main uses: metallurgy, ink silicon carbide, glass and glass products, enamel, cast steel, water filtration, sodium silicate, chemical, sandblasting and other industries.
2, refined quartz sand
SiO2 ≥ 99~99.5%, Fe2O3 ≤ 0.02~0.015%. A selection of high quality ore for complex processing. The particle size range is from 5 to 480 mesh, which can be produced according to user requirements, and the appearance is white or crystalline.
Main uses: high-grade glass, glass products, refractory materials, smelting stones, precision casting, grinding wheel and other materials.
3, high purity quartz sand
SiO2 ≥ 99.5~99.9%, FeO ≤ 0.005%. It is made of 1~3 natural crystal stones and high-quality natural stone, carefully selected and finely processed. The particle size range is 1~0.5mm, 0.5~0.1mm, 0.1~0.01mm, 0.01~0.005mm.
4, fused silica sand
Chemical composition: SiO2: 99.9~99.99%. Fe2O3: 10PPM~25PPM. Max Li2O content: 1~2PPM. Max Al2O3 content: 20~30PPM. Max K2O content: 20~25PPM. Max Na2O content: 10~20PPM.
Physical properties: Appearance is colorless and transparent, granular or white powder.
True weight: 2.21
Mohs hardness: 7.0
PH value: 6.0
5, silicon micropowder
Silicon micropowder: Appearance is gray or off-white powder. Refractoriness > 1600 ° C.
Volume weight: 200 ~ 250 kg / cubic meter.
