PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR
what is magnetic separation process?
Mining companies, recycling facilities and food manufacturers (including) available industrial strength magnets, first introduced some different types of iron removers, may be helpful in business.
The tape separator removes unwanted metal fragments, also known as impurity metals, from the industrial conveyor system. Once you know which configuration may be better than other configurations, the difference between which type of in-line remover and cross-belt type remover (also known as super-band) is even more pronounced.
Cross belt type iron remover
By the implementation of the suspension magnet, the cross-belt iron remover (CBS) has a continuously running belt to remove the extracted impurity metal from the surface of the magnet. When CBS devices have permanent magnets, they retain these unwanted metals even during power outages. By providing metal-free end products, CBS technology can increase uptime and reduce maintenance costs and liability risks. These self-cleaning iron remover models are perpendicular to the travel of the material being conveyed. This allows the impurity metal to be thrown from the side of the conveyor belt.

The in-line magnetic separator is very similar to the crossover belt because it also has a continuous belt on the magnet surface. The difference is that the iron remover is parallel to the conveying material, and the debris is discharged at the end of the conveyor. The typical reason for using this type of separator is that the conveyor belt runs fast, the load depth is large, and the position is practical.
