The permanent magnet drum remover consists of a stationery permanent magnet assembly having a uniform and permanent magnetic field over the entire width of the drum that is effective over approximately half of the drum circumference.

A drum shell made of non-magnetic stainless steel rotates around a magnetic field. Since the material uniformly conveyed from the trough falls on the drum, a strong magnetic field attracts and adsorbs the iron particles on the rotating casing. Since the rotating outer casing carries the iron particles through the stationery magnetic field, the non-magnetic material freely falls from the outer casing while the ferrous particles are firmly held until it exceeds the separator and the magnetic field.

The strength of the permanent magnet drum is guaranteed to be greater than the corresponding electromagnetic drum. The permanent magnet used is a permanent magnet whose strength does not weaken during normal use and can be used throughout the installation.
