dry magnetic separator
PTMS magnetic separation
what is magnetic bead separation?
The dry weak strong iron remover consists of a fixed yoke with a plurality of permanent magnets placed in a rotating drum of non-magnetic material.
feature
The iron remover can be used in a variety of designs for dust-proof housing designs and drum assemblies to meet different requirements.
The dry iron remover is used for iron ore with a particle size of up to 20 mm.
The magnetic system is available in five designs with excellent selectivity at the highest recovery rates, reducing the number of units required and achieving maximum load. Fewer machines mean less maintenance, lower capital and operating costs.
Iron separator advantage
According to the moisture content of up to 25 mm, the particle size can be effectively separated in the range of 0.1 mm
By using magnetic separators with different drum speeds, high grade concentrates with medium grain size and tailings as separate products are generally available.
In general, dry iron removers are more flexible than conventional wet iron removers and can save significant grinding costs by recovering valuable minerals at an early stage of processing.
Iron remover design
The dry drum magnetic separator consists of a fixed yoke and a plurality of permanent magnets placed in a rotating drum of non-magnetic material.
The magnets have alternating polarities, usually barium ferrite. There are two forms of rotating drums:
1) The wear cover for low speed, stainless steel, rubber, polyurethane or stainless steel can be replaced;
2) For high speed reinforced plastic, rubber or polyurethane wear protection.
The drum assembly is housed in a dust-proof housing with an opening at the bottom for discharging magnetic and non-magnetic products. These products are separated by a separator placed under the outer casing. The entire unit can be dust removed by connecting the factory exhaust system to the outlet on the housing.
