Application of iron remover in refractory industry
With the modernization of China's industrial technology and the development of the refractory industry, in order to solve the fine-grained ferromagnetic material or to remove the ferromagnetic minerals in the non-magnetic mineral, the ferromagnetic mineral is adsorbed in the cylinder when the mud flows into the magnetic field. On the surface, the weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are removed after sorting, and as the cylinder rotates, the ferromagnetic mineral adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder is taken out from the magnetic field region. This machine uses rare earth permanent magnet material as the magnetic source, open magnetic circuit design, adjustable drum speed and magnetic system swing. The number of magnetic flips of magnetic particles is much higher than that of conventional magnetic separators, which plays an important role in decomposing magnetic agglomeration and increasing the enrichment ratio. The structure is simple, easy to operate and maintain, and the footprint is small. Industrial testing has shown that it meets the requirements of industrial production.
The iron remover is divided into two types: rotary type and fixed type. The fixed type is mainly suitable for weak magnetic field wet magnetic separation of fine particles or ferromagnetic materials with strong magnetic properties in non-magnetic minerals. As the cylinder rotates, minerals and minerals are carried out of the magnetic field. Suitable for rough or selected ore with a particle size of 0.6-6mm. The same cylinder can be equipped with three tanks, that is, the size of the downstream flow passage (CTS) is ≤ 6 mm, the CTN is ≤ 0.6 mm, and the size of the semi-reverse flow chamber (CTB) is ≤ 1 mm.
With the continuous improvement of the blast furnace life technology of China's steel industry during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, the efforts to develop high-efficiency continuous casting and de-blasting treatment technologies have been increasing, and the demand for refractory materials in China has been increasing. Due to the high-speed rotation of the permanent magnet cylinder magnetic separator, the number of magnetic particles whose magnetic field is reversed is much higher than that of the ordinary magnetic separator, which has a significant effect on destroying the coincidence of the magnetic rings and increasing the proportion of rich magnetic ore.
