what is magnetic separation?

 

The permanent magnet separator adopts a high-coercive force and high remanence special permanent magnet, such as "NdFeB" to form a composite magnet system. It has the characteristics of maintenance-free, strong magnetic force, long service life, convenient installation, convenient use and reliable operation. Suitable for removing iron from belt conveyors, vibrating conveyors, electromagnetic vibrating feeders and non-magnetic materials on chutes. Excluding 0.1-35 kg of ferromagnetic material, the internal permanent magnet system has a service life of more than 10 years. When the permanent magnet absorbs a large amount of ferromagnetic material, it can be manually removed with a non-magnetic scraper or removed with a glove. This applies to applications with continuous operation and less iron. Permanent magnet separators include pipes, barriers, and permanent magnet rolls. In addition, there are permanent magnet iron removers that can be divided into automatic unloading belts, manual iron unloading discs, and manual iron unloaders.

Pipe permanent magnet separator. The pipe separator is a wet removal device. The device consists essentially of a magnetic bar that is inserted into a human body tube. This equipment is suitable for the removal of iron from the slurry, especially for the removal of fine iron particles. Mainly used in cement, grain, glass, chemical and other industries, except for iron, its structure is simple, but it is generally manual unloading iron (also has tubular electromagnetic iron remover). The structure has an iron separator external iron separator connected to one side or both sides of the pipeline (usually the pipeline is rectangular); 2 The iron separator built-in iron remover is conical at the center of the pipeline (generally the tube is circular).

Permanent magnet separator for the grid. This type of iron remover uses a plurality of spaced apart magnetic bars. The cylinder rotates around the magnet system or the entire magnet cylinder. It can be used to replace the drive wheel of a belt conveyor. It can not only drive the belt to transport materials, but also play the role of sorting. It plays an important role in steel slag recovery, mine iron sand and rough selection, and removal of impurities from non-magnetic materials. Function, easy to operate. The device is suitable for the transport of iron in the process of conveying coarse particles below 50 mm.

Belt type permanent magnet separator. The belt type permanent magnet iron remover has the characteristics of automatic unloading of iron, constant magnetic field, constant hot and cold state, and few failure points. It is more commonly used below the 1 200 mm bandwidth. Due to the current development of magnetic shielding technology, it has caused a lot of troubles in manufacturing, transportation, installation, operation and maintenance. For example, if a large iron is sucked onto the magnetic box, there is a problem that it cannot be thrown away, and the belt burns the motor. At the same time, the disassembly is difficult and may cause damage to the magnetic block, so it is limited in large-scale applications.

Plate type iron-loading permanent magnet remover. All iron removers are easy to operate, low in price, small in floor space, and easy to install and maintain. According to the configuration, it can be roughly divided into two types, namely, fixed suspension and bottom fixation. The suspended fixed plate remover is suitable for mounting on a tape conveyor belt, while the bottom fixed plate remover is suitable for installation under a lower hopper or chute. This type of iron removal device is suitable for situations where iron impurities are less and less, and the thickness of the transport stream is better than 100 mm. When the device is in operation, the iron inclusions are directly attracted to the magnetic plate, and the iron needs to be manually unloaded periodically, which is laborious.

Manual permanent magnet separator. The manual permanent magnet separator uses a scraper to scrape off the iron outside the magnetic field, and removes the iron with the handle, but generally cannot be used for large iron parts. Advantages of permanent magnet separator:

Transportation and installation are inconvenient and it is not easy to remove a large amount of adsorbed iron.

Vibration during transportation and installation can easily cause changes in the magnetic structure, resulting in magnetic attenuation.

For areas with large temperature changes, the temperature difference affects the magnetic induction. Since the self-unloading permanent magnet separator is equipped with a self-unloading belt, the alternating magnetic field generated by the AC motor has an influence on the human body magnetic force.
