There are many types of permanent magnet iron removers, which can meet the various needs of actual production. Several common types of permanent magnet iron removers are described in detail below.
(1) Permanent magnet drum type iron remover.
It consists mainly of a multipole fixed magnetic system and a cylinder made of a non-magnetic material. The wrap angle of the fixed magnetic system is 180, or 360. The cylinder rotates around the magnetic system or the entire magnetic drum. Generally used to replace the belt conveyor drive wheel, which can drive the belt to transport the material, and at the same time play the role of sorting. It plays an important role in the steel mill slag recycling, the rough selection of mine iron and gravel, and the non-magnetic material removal. Function, easy to operate. The device is suitable for the removal of iron during the transport of coarse-grained materials below 50 mm.
(2) Flap type permanent magnet iron remover.
When the flip-type permanent magnet separator is unloading iron, the magnetic system is turned over by about 90. The ferromagnetic material is automatically detached, and its shape has a structure for lifting the magnetic system away from the magnetic field (drawer type), and its outer shape is shorter than the belt type, the height is slightly higher, and the operation is convenient and simple.
(3) Belt type permanent magnet separator.
The belt type permanent magnet separator is characterized by automatic unloading of iron, constant magnetic field, no change of cold and hot state, less failure points, and is more common under the bandwidth of 1 200 mm. Because the development of magnetic shielding technology is still not enough, it brings a lot of troubles to manufacturing, transportation, installation, operation and maintenance. For example, if a large piece of iron is sucked into the magnetic box, there is a problem that it may not be thrown off, thereby pinching the belt to burn the motor. At the same time, it is difficult to remove, and it may cause damage to the magnetic block, so it is limited in large-scale applications.
(4) Grid-type permanent magnet separator.
This type of iron remover is made up of multiple magnetic rods. Because the baffle is placed above the grid frame, it increases the probability that the inclusions in the material will be attracted by the magnet. In order to adapt the device to different feeders, the device can be customized into a round grid and a square grid according to user requirements. The device is suitable for the removal of iron from materials up to 12.5 mm.
(5) Manual permanent magnet separator.
When the manual permanent magnet iron remover is unloading iron, the iron is scraped off the magnetic field by means of a squeegee, but it is generally not used for occasions with large iron parts.
(6) Channel type permanent magnet separator.
This type of iron remover mainly consists of two magnetic plates combined by a frame. A baffle is also arranged above the frame of the channel to maximize the iron removal rate of the material. The biggest advantage of this equipment is that the mechanical iron in the block (5O ~ 60 mm) can be fully and effectively removed.
(7) Pipe type permanent magnet separator.
The pipeline type iron remover is a wet working iron removal equipment. The device is mainly composed of a magnetic rod inserted into a pipe. The device is suitable for the removal of iron in the slurry, and is especially suitable for the removal of fine particles of iron. It is mainly used for iron removal in cement, grain, glass, chemical and other industries. Its structure is simple, but it is usually manual unloading iron (also has pipeline type electromagnetic iron remover). (8) Rotary type permanent magnet iron remover.

The difference is that the drum is driven by a separate motor, so continuous and independent iron removal is possible. It is ideal for use in iron removal where the amount of iron in the material stream is high.
(9) Plate type manual unloading type permanent magnet iron remover.
It is the simplest among all the iron removers, the price is low, the space is small, and the manufacturing, installation and maintenance are convenient. According to the configuration method, it can be roughly divided into two types, namely, the hanging fixed type and the bottom fixed type. The suspension fixed plate type iron remover is adapted to be mounted above the tape conveyor belt conveyor, and the bottom fixed plate type iron remover is adapted to be mounted below the lower hopper or chute. This type of de-ironing device is suitable for applications where the iron-containing impurities are small and small, and the thickness of the conveying stream preferably does not exceed 100 mm. When the equipment is working, the iron inclusions are directly attracted to the magnetic plate, and it is more difficult to perform manual manual unloading of iron.
