Fluorite resources are widely distributed, with the highest reserves in China and South Africa.

what is magnetic separation used for?
From a global perspective, industrially valuable fluorite deposits are characterized by a wide geographical distribution. At present, industrially valuable fluorite deposits have been discovered in more than 40 countries around the world. Since 2001, global fluorite reserves have increased. According to estimates by the US Geological Survey, before 2014, global fluorite reserves were below 240 million tons and below; in 2017, global fluorite reserves were still around 270 million tons.
Fluorite resources are mainly distributed in China, Mongolia, Asia, Mexico, the United States and other places in Africa, Africa, South Africa, Kenya and Europe, Spain, the United Kingdom and other places. Among them, China and South Africa are the countries with the richest fluorite reserves in the world. From the perspective of metallogenic geological environment, the fluorite reserves in the Pacific Rim metallogenic belt are the most, accounting for more than half of the global reserves. The proven fluorite reserves are distributed in more than 40 countries.
Like other mineral resources, fluorite is a non-renewable resource. Due to the scarcity of fluorite, each will increase the intensity of resource exploration, using geophysical and geochemical methods to directly or indirectly find hidden fluorite ore. In addition, many countries around the world have established and implemented a relatively complete strategic mineral resource reserve system and system. The United States has now used more than 40 kinds of minerals such as petroleum, uranium, asbestos, fluorite and pyrophyllite as strategic reserve minerals. In order to protect fluorite resources and achieve sustainable development, China has also listed fluorite minerals as a strategic resource, and has issued a series of regulations to strengthen management. In the future, more countries will implement the fluorite strategic mineral resource reserve system.
