Characteristics of quartz resources in China
Ore type: quartz stone, marine sand and vein quartz have good quality and meet the requirements of secondary mine. The quality of quartz sandstone varies greatly.
Ore-bearing horizon: Quartzite, ganguestone, Devonian quartz sandstone and modern marine sand of the Proterozoic are of good quality.
Geographical distribution: Northern quartzite, southern quartz sandstone and coastal marine sand have good quality.
