what is magnetic separation in chemistry?
First, the magnetic separator lubrication and filling cycle:
1. The gear unit should be lubricated. After the new gear unit is operated for one month, the oil should be completely drained, the new oil should be replaced, and the oil should be replaced every six months.
2. The double-bearing bearing at both ends of the drum is applied with oil gun 2-3ml once a week. After 6 months, the end cap is cleaned and inspected once, and new oil is injected. Grease should be greased.
3. The transmission chain and sprocket are filled with 200ml of lithium base grease every month.
Second, the magnetic separator maintenance:
1. Check and repair the following parts every week.
Every week, the feed trough, concentrate discharge trough and tailings discharge trough should be carefully cleaned to check for damage, deformation and other problems. If there is any problem, deal with it in time.
2. The following parts should be inspected and repaired every month.
(1) The wear of the drive chain is not allowed to exceed the regulations. If it affects normal use, it must be replaced resolutely. Adjust the tightness of the drive chain in time.
(2) Proofreading drive sprocket, the linear deviation shall not exceed 1 mm. If there is any deviation, it should be adjusted in time.
(3) Check and tighten the fixing bolts of the equipment support frame, motor, reducer and drum spindle.
(4) The large end caps on both sides of the magnetic separator and the bolts of the bearing end caps are inspected and tightened.
(5) The body and the drum are thoroughly inspected for problems such as open welding, damage and deformation.
(6) Measure and check the concentrate guide and raft to maintain the level.
(7) The method of checking the angle of the magnetic system is to use an electric welding rod and horizontally put into the concentrate discharge. If the suction is large, the magnetic system is too high, the concentrate is not easy to fall off, and the suction is too weak, indicating that the magnetic system is low, the concentrate It is not easy to discharge. To reach the discharged magnetite powder, it will automatically disengage from the magnetic field and be discharged smoothly.
Third, the magnetic separator common faults:
(1) The magnetic separator motor is overheated and its sound is abnormal. The reason why the magnetic separator motor overheats and its sound is abnormal is: 1) the bearing is poorly lubricated or the wear is serious; 2) the fan blade is detached or worn; 3) the switch circuit is in poor contact, or the single line is broken; 4) the voltage is too low .
(2) The magnetic separator is not sounding properly during operation, the cylinder is caught by the obstacle, and even the cylinder cannot be rotated, and the bottom box vibrates. The reason is often that the object in the bottom box is stuck, and then the magnetic block is detached, so that the cylinder creaks, and in severe cases, the barrel is scratched. At this time, it should be stopped for maintenance and troubleshooting.
(3) The reason why the reducer overheats: 1) insufficient oil or poor oil quality; 2) the gear and the worm are worn out too much, or the meshing is not good; 3) the bearing is poorly lubricated or worn.
(4) The magnetic field strength of the magnetic separator is weakened: 1) the temperature is too high; 2) the sun is exposed; 3) the acid-base corrosion. It can be measured with a Gauss meter. The magnetic separator consists of a base, a lower magnetic system, a rotating cage, an upper magnetic system, a hollow shaft, a concentrate tank, and a transmission device. The mounting base measures its elevation and level with reference to the hollow bearing block. The positioning of the lower magnetic system is based on the base. The gap adjustment between the cage and the upper and lower magnetic systems must be accurate, and the gap limit deviation is 0+1 mm.
