China's iron ore mines are rich in ore (97.5% of total reserves) and associated (common) ore (accounting for 1/3 of total reserves), the hardness of the ore is relatively large, and the magnetic cylinder of the magnetic separator is constantly It is subjected to the impact of granular iron ore of 0 to 15 or less, and the wear is severe, and the phenomenon that the magnetic drum is worn out often occurs. Once the barrel is worn out, the slurry enters the magnetic roller, and the adsorption on the surface of the magnetic system causes the cylinder to lock with the magnetic system, or the slurry enters the bearing, causing damage to the bearing, causing the entire equipment to be destroyed. Barium ferrite magnets and neodymium iron boron magnets are generally used in the magnetic system. Among them, NdFeB magnets have poor chemical stability, and in the humid air in the magnetic drum, the surface oxidation is gradually peeled off. Barium ferrite has good chemical stability. Barium ferrite magnets are generally bonded with epoxy resin to form a magnetic group and are fixed in the magnetic system. Therefore, it is necessary to fix both the barium ferrite magnet and the neodymium iron boron magnet.

Solution (1) Tube wear protection: PVC coating is used to wrap the barrel and adhesive to bond the PVC coating, which can greatly improve the service life of the barrel.

(2) Magnetic system is fixed. The glass ribbon was coated with epoxy resin, iron packaging tape and stainless steel plate to test the magnetic system as a whole. According to the test results, a magnetic system was wrapped with a 0.5Cr thick 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plate. The joints at both ends of the stainless steel plate are clamped by a thin plate and fixed by bolts, and finally bolted to adjust the tension. This not only has little effect on the magnetic field surface magnetic field, but also has a strong enough wrapping tension on the magnetic system, and the effect is remarkable. After this method, the magnetic block has never been detached, and the problem of magnetic system fixation has been completely solved.
