what is magnetic separation process ?

 

The demagnetizer is a device used to eliminate the residual magnetism generated by machining. It generates magnetic lines of force from the electromagnetic coil, and directly or indirectly interferes with the magnetic properties of the original workpiece by magnetic lines of force to achieve demagnetization of the workpiece. The two most important conditions for demagnetization are: 1. The magnetic poles overlap; 2. The magnetic field strength decreases.

The method of magnetic pole overlap:

1. The magnetizing current is AC;

2. Alternately change the direction of the direct current;

3. Change the direction of the test piece in the magnetic field.

The way the magnetic field strength decreases: the test piece gradually moves away from the magnetic field or the magnetic field gradually away from the test piece, and the current is controlled by the power supply to attenuate or step down.

When the automatic timing demagnetization is used in the production line, the working mode switch is pulled to the automatic timing position, the travel switch is connected, and the travel switch is adjusted to the position corresponding to the front of the frame, so that it can be pressed before the workpiece enters the frame at a constant speed. . When the workpiece passes through the demagnetization port and reaches 1.5 meters in 5-6 seconds, the demagnetizer automatically stops working and the workpiece demagnetization is completed. During the demagnetization process, the workpiece cannot be powered off within 1.5 meters from the frame. If the workpiece is placed on the tray for demagnetization, the tray must be made of non-metallic material. The workpiece should not be demagnetized in a metal tray or metal container. Otherwise, it will be demagnetized. Affects the demagnetization effect of the workpiece. Workpiece demagnetization conditions The working mode switch is generally in the automatic timing position, and the manual position dwell time is generally not more than 1 minute each time. /Low remanent magnets, such as low-carbon steel, cast iron, etc., can be used for weak magnetic demagnetization, high remanence workpieces such as: high carbon steel, alloy steel and smoldering workpieces with strong demagnetization, for workpieces that are particularly difficult to demagnetize, Demagnetization is repeated in three dimensions. That is to say, the workpiece is strongly demagnetized, and then the workpiece is rotated 90 degrees in the horizontal direction, and then the workpiece is rotated once in the vertical direction to demagnetize. Thus, the residual magnetism of the six surfaces of the workpiece can be fully removed to achieve the purpose of complete demagnetization. / If there is any improper use, the demagnetizer temperature is too high. If the temperature control limit is exceeded, the demagnetizer will automatically stop working. After the temperature is lowered, the demagnetizer will automatically resume operation.
