"Electrical Pure Iron Introduction" Electromagnetic pure iron purity is above 99.5%. Industrial pure iron used as soft magnetic material is called electromagnetic pure iron, also called electric iron or electrical steel.

Question 1: What is soft magnetic material? A soft magnetic material refers to a magnetic material having a low coercive force and a high magnetic permeability. Soft magnetic materials are easy to magnetize and easy to demagnetize, and are widely used in electrical equipment and electronic equipment. A typical soft magnetic material that achieves maximum magnetization with a minimum external magnetic field. The most widely used soft magnetic materials are iron-silicon alloys (silicon steel sheets) and various soft ferrites.

Question 2: What is electric iron? Industrial pure iron is a kind of steel. Its chemical composition is mainly iron, the content is 99.50%~99.90%, the carbon content is below 0.04%, and the other elements are as small as possible. Because it is actually not really pure iron (purity 99.90% ~ 99.95%), so this kind of steel close to pure iron is industrial pure iron. Industrial pure iron has soft texture, high toughness and good electromagnetic performance. There are two common uses, one as a deep-drawn material that can be stamped into extremely complex shapes, and the other as an electromagnetic material, namely electromagnetic pure iron. The amount of electromagnetic pure iron in industrial pure iron is the largest, accounting for about 80%. Electromagnetic pure iron has high magnetic properties and low diamagnetism. Widely used in electronic and electrical, electrical components, magnetic materials, amorphous products, relays, sensors, automotive brakes, textile machinery, electric solenoid valves and other products. Its melting point is higher than that of iron, it is harder to rust than iron in humid air, and it can be passivated in cold concentrated sulfuric acid.

Question 3: What is the chemical composition of electromagnetic pure iron? In terms of electromagnetic performance, the higher the purity, the better the electromagnetic performance. However, the preparation of high-purity iron is complicated and costly. The solution for electromagnetic pure iron is to add aluminum silicon in smelting to weaken the adverse effects of other impurities on magnetic properties. The reference values ​​of the chemical composition of electromagnetic pure iron are shown in the table below. Remarks: The grade consists of the "DT" of the "Electric Iron", the sequence number and the magnetic grade symbol (A is advanced, E is special, C is super). In the 86 version of the old national standard, there are DT3 and DT3A grades, and the new version of GB/T 6983-2008 has been cancelled. The above data is from the new version.

Question 4: How is the grade of electromagnetic pure iron determined? Unlike other steels, the chemical composition of electromagnetic pure iron is only a reference and is not a condition for acceptance. The magnetic test of the electromagnetic pure iron product is generally only tested for coercivity (Hc), and the grade is determined according to the coercive force value.
