High quality magnetic separator
Two different types of dump kaolin PTMS magnetic separators provide high separation efficiency for high purity ceramic materials: roller and magnetic roller. These separators generate high intensity magnetic fields and rely on centrifugal force for separation. Usually, the feed material is introduced into a rotating magnetic rotor and the non-magnetic material is discharged in a natural trajectory. The magnetic material is attracted to the rotor by a magnetic field and spins out of the stream of non-magnetic particles.
PTMS Magnetic Separator
Kaolin magnetic drum PTMS magnetic separator consists of a fixed shaft-mounted magnetic circuit completely enclosed by a rotating drum. The magnetic circuit consists of alternating rare earth magnets and steel rods across a 120-degree arc. Steel rods are induced to project a high-intensity, high-gradient magnetic field. The peak magnetic field intensity on the drum is about 7000 Gauss and effectively removes much paramagnetic material.

Kaolin drum PTMS magnetic separator can efficiently process relatively rough (> 75 micron) materials and is suitable for harsh environments. For example, a 15-inch diameter drum can handle 5 tons of 65 to 200 mesh quartz sand per hour. The separator has been successfully used in a number of industrial applications, including processing quartzite, kyanite, feldspar, nepheline syenite and composite glass batchings, as well as cleaning glass broken glass applications. In most applications, unit capacities range from 3 to 5 t/ft in barrel widths in the 15-inch range.
