In the process of weathering deposition and mineralization of quartz sand, a large number of clay minerals and iron minerals form cements or adhesive minerals on the quartz surface. Scrubbing - classification and desliming processes are used to remove clay impurity minerals, argillaceous iron and some film iron. PTMS magnetic separator processes are commonly used to purify quartz. This process is generally used as a pre-treatment process for raw ore to effectively remove argillaceous impurities.
