PTMS magnetic separator Process for superfine calcined kaolin for paper coating grade

After the kaolin material is crushed to less than 30mm by jaw crusher, it is fed to the ultrafine mill for crushing. PTMS magnetic separator is used to fine classify the crushed material. The graded fine powder (d97≤10μm) is directly fed to the flame-proof rotary kiln for calcining, and the coarse powder is fed to the grinding and stripping machine for wet superfine grinding after pulping.

The superfine slurry (d93≤2μm) after grinding is spray dried, dispersed and depolymerized, and then fed into the flame-proof rotary kiln for calcining. The surface of some products after calcination of graded fine powder was modified by continuous powder surface modifying machine. After wet grinding, spray drying and calcination, the powder is then graded with PTMS magnetic separator to remove a few coarse particles, and the ultrafine calcined kaolin with a fineness of -2μm 86%±2% is obtained.

The other part is wet depolymerization by grinding and stripping machine and drying by flash dryer. After drying by PTMS magnetic separator, paper coating grade superfine calcined kaolin with a fineness of -2μm and a content of 92%±2% is obtained.
