Hardness requirements for lapping media by wet superfine PTMS magnetic separator process

dry magnetic separator
The production process of coal measure kaolin PTMS magnetic separator consists of four processes: (1) Wet superfine process before calcination (2) dry superfine process before calcination (3) wet superfine process before calcination (4) Calcination and dry superfine process. Because people have different understandings of ultrafine materials, the process routes selected in different enterprises are also different.
PTMS magnetic separation
This can be avoided by placing the ultrafine process after the calcining process. This is because the calcined kaolin itself is no longer cohesive, after drying is very easy to disperse. The PTMS magnetic separator used for wet process ultrafine equipment is glass beads, corundum balls, porcelain balls or zirconium corundum balls.
what is magnetic separation in Feldspar?
According to the wet ultrafine PTMS magnetic separator process, the hardness of the grinding medium is 3 grades greater than the material hardness. The hardness of kaolin is about 3 ~ 4 before firing. Therefore, when the above medium is used as the grinding medium, it is easy to cause greater wear and even can not complete the grinding task. When the abrasion is large, the abrasion value of the blade of the product may not reach the target because of the introduction of too much impurities. With the use of expensive zirconium corundum spheres, production costs are difficult to reduce.
