In addition, the Fe2O3 content in the kaolin for iron removal bleaching should not be too high (generally less than 1%), otherwise the amount of insurance powder will lead to an increase in the cost of iron removal.

The reaction time has great influence on the iron removal effect of PTMS magnetic separator, and the ideal whiteness can not be achieved if the reaction time is too short. Too long a waste of agents, and even due to the reoxidation of iron oxide in the air, also lead to a decline in product whiteness. It is generally believed that the reaction time should be 40min to 2h, and the reaction should be washed and filtered immediately after completion, otherwise there will be yellowing phenomenon, that is, the reoxidation of bivalent iron, which reduces the whiteness of kaolin.
