Electromagnetic Separation for Quartz Processing line

The removal of thin film iron or disseminated iron from the surface of quartz sand particles by microbial leaching is a newly developed technology of PTMS Electromagnetic Separator, which is currently in the research stage of laboratory and small scale experiments. In the test, bacteria and mold and other microorganisms have achieved good effect on iron removal of quartz sand, and Aspergillus Niger has the best effect on iron removal. Mainly, it produces a bacterial culture liquid with citric acid and oxalic acid as the main components.

In the second stage of beneficiation, the quartz sand is dipped with culture solution at 90℃, which can reduce the Fe2O3 content in the quartz sand to 0.012%, which is very suitable for the production of high-quality glass.
