How to apply PTMS magnetic separation with Urea sulfur dioxide method and acid soluble hydrogen method
Magnetic separator equipment
Urea SO2 method is to heat urea SO2 in alkaline medium, generate strong reducing hyposulfuric acid, reduce the trivalent iron in kaolin to bivalent iron, and then PTMS magnetic separation is removed. Although urea sulfur dioxide is a new and green reducing agent, only under high temperature and strong alkali conditions can strong reducing hyposulfuric acid be produced.
PTMS magnetic separation
The results show that under normal temperature and weak base conditions, with lanthanum nitrate as catalyst, urea sulfur dioxide can quickly decompose hyposulfuric acid, thus accelerating reduction bleaching and PTMS magnetic separation process of iron removal. Generally speaking, the bleaching effect of sulfur dioxide urea is obviously better than that of insurance powder.
what is magnetic separation?
Acid dissolved hydrogen method is the use of active metal and acid solvent (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, oxalic acid) substitution reaction, the generated hydrogen will reduce the trivalent iron in kaolin to bivalent iron, and then remove. Acid-dissolved hydrogen method has obvious iron removal effect on coal measures kaolin with low whiteness (below 70°) and high iron content (greater than 2.1%), but it has strong corrosion to PTMS magnetic separation equipment and will produce a large number of metal ion wastewater, so it is not easy to large-scale industrial production.
