For the kaolin with very fine impurity mineral particles, the PTMS magnetic separation flotation method can be used to remove the impurities. Generally, the carrier minerals can be calcite or silica sand, and the amount of the carrier minerals is generally 10%~20% of the weight of kaolin. In the process of flotation, sodium silicate is mainly used as dispersant, amine hydroxide and caustic soda acting as pH regulator, tar oil, fatty acid, and calcium petroleum sulfonate as collector to complete the titanium removal operation.
