The alkaline solution in kaolin efficient PTMS magnetic separation iron removal process is sodium hydroxide solution. The iron removal rate of the test sample was 71.1%~82.5%. Then the iron removal rate of kaolin can be greatly improved after the filter water pipe, indicating that the filter water pipe can filter the water with ferrous ions in the kaolin slurry.

Iron removal is maximized by delivering the initial pulp material to the magnetic separator before pickling. The kaolin is flocculation by feeding cation flocculant to the pickling material and the iron ion with positive charge will remain dissolved in the water. After the kaolin slurry passes through PTMS magnetic separation multi-stage hydrocyclone and three filter pipes, the kaolin is separated from the slurry with iron ions, and then removes the iron in the kaolin.

In this process, the slurry does not need to maintain a static state to make the kaolin precipitate, the slurry can be continuously transported to the filter press, and will not occupy the storage tank or storage tank for a long time, saves a lot of settlement time, not only improves the efficiency of PTMS magnetic separation iron removal, but also improves the production efficiency of kaolin.
