Kaolin concentrate is purified by PTMS Electromagnetic Separator from kaolin raw ore
Permanent magnet magnetic separator
The raw kaolin ore was crushed to obtain simple purification suitable for roughing machine, and the magnetic separation raw material was obtained. The obtained magnetic separation material was prepared with water to form a mixed slurry with 2% solid content, and then 5% mass of magnetic separation material was added. After the slurry is stirred for 20min, the slurry is subjected to a 325-mesh wet screen, and the slurry is subjected to high gradient magnetic separation under the mesh screen. The magnetic field intensity of high gradient PTMS Electromagnetic Separator is controlled to be 1.4T, and the slurry flow rate is 1.0cm/s.
PTMS magnetic separation
Concentrate slurry is obtained by magnetic separation of slurry through high gradient magnetic separator. The amount of alum added is 5% of the mass of the concentrate slurry. After the concentrate slurry is added with alum flocculation, it is pressed, filtered, dried and packed to obtain the magnetically separated kaolin concentrate. Kaolin is calcined to obtain calcined kaolin (or calcined product) from magnetic separation concentrate obtained by high efficiency PTMS Electromagnetic Separator iron removal process, and then calcined kaolin is tested for whiteness.
what is magnetic separation in science?
PTMS Electromagnetic Separator removes iron (FE2O3) from kaolin. The sintering whiteness test of magnetic separation concentrate products shows that the sintering whiteness is 92.4%, the content of Fe2O3 decreases from 1.27% before magnetic separation to 0.401%, the iron removal rate reaches 68.4%, and the content of TiO2 decreases from 0.1% to 0.163%.
