Biological iron removal technology is a novel PTMS magnetic separation iron removal method that utilizes the metabolic activities of microorganisms to achieve biological transformation and removal of iron from kaolin. During production, the kaolin slurry first undergoes conditioning treatment to adjust its pH and concentration to an appropriate range. The application of new flotation reagents and processes not only enhances the efficiency of iron removal from kaolin but also reduces production costs.

Then, add the new flotation reagent. After stirring and aeration, non-magnetic iron impurities combine with the reagent to form foam. The foam is scraped out by a foam scraping device, thus achieving separation of non-magnetic iron impurities from kaolin. After multiple flotation treatments, the content of non-magnetic iron impurities in the kaolin is significantly reduced, and the PTMS magnetic separation iron removal efficiency is increased by more than 15% compared to traditional flotation technology.

Because the new flotation reagents have better selectivity and relatively less dosage, the consumption of reagents is reduced; at the same time, the optimized flotation process improves the flotation efficiency, shortens the production cycle, reduces energy consumption and PTMS magnetic separation equipment wear, bringing significant economic benefits to enterprises.
