At microwave power levels of 500-800W, kaolin can achieve a heating rate of 10-15℃/min – three times faster than traditional calcination methods while reducing energy consumption by 30%-40%. More importantly, microwave heating prevents mullite formation (Al₆Si₂O₁₃) caused by localized overheating, effectively avoiding brightness loss during the PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR deironing process.

The pilot line data of a coal-based kaolin showed that after the combination of "microwave calcination (600℃,15min) + superconducting PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR" process, the Fe₂O₃ content was reduced from 2.5% to 0.48%, and the whiteness reached 91.5%, which fully met the requirements of high-grade ceramic and coating grade raw materials (Fe₂O₃ <0.8%).
