To address this, the company introduced carrier flotation PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR technology: using quicklime (CaO) as the carrier mineral, which generates positively charged Ca(OH)₂ colloid in water. This colloid preferentially adsorbs negatively charged iron-bearing minerals, forming "carrier-impurity" complexes. Subsequently, appropriate collectors are added to facilitate their flotation to the foam layer for separation.
