When the current is constant, the magnetic field intensity and magnetic field gradient can be changed simultaneously by changing the size of the working gap. Therefore, the effect of changing current and working gap is not exactly the same. Reducing the working gap will increase the magnetic field force sharply. The size of the work clearance depends on the size of the material to be processed and the job requirements. Deal with coarse levels more and fine levels less. When scanning, adjust the work clearance to a small limit as far as possible to improve the recovery rate; When selecting, it is suggested to increase the working gap, reduce the non-uniformity of magnetic field distribution between the poles and increase the distance between magnetic particles and disk tooth tip, in order to increase the selectivity of separation and improve the grade of magnetic products, but at the same time to appropriately increase the current to compensate for the reduced magnetic field intensity due to increase the working gap.
