what is magnetic separation process？

Ultrasonic composite power field PTMS electromagnetic separator is used to introduce ultrasonic waves into the magnetic separator. The combined effect of ultrasonic dispersion force, gravity force and water impulse force can break or loosen the magnetic agglomeration, reduce gangue inclusion and force the exclusion of gangue, and improve the grade of concentrate. The ultrasonic dispersion system can fully break the magnetic mass in the separation zone and separate gangue and some poor connective bodies, thus obtaining high quality iron concentrate. The equipment has the advantages of simple structure, high efficiency and accuracy, and great adaptability to selected materials. Compared with conventional drum magnetic separator, PTMS with ultrasonic compound force field has the advantages of ultrasonic generation device, separation band length, low magnetic separation intensity, special water feeding device and so on, which can effectively improve the separation accuracy. In the treatment of vanadium-titanium magnetite, the concentration grade of PTMS magnetic separator in ultrasonic composite power field can be improved by 1 ~ 2% compared with that of ordinary magnetic separator under the same conditions.

With the rapid development of PTMS magnetic separation equipment, some new and efficient magnetic separation technologies have been introduced and applied, but they still cannot fully meet the needs of PTMS magnetic separation machine development. Self-research and development should be further carried out to produce a variety of high-efficient and multi-functional magnetic separation equipment. In the future, the development direction of PTMS magnetic separation equipment will still be large-scale, specialized and energy-saving. A new type of magnetic separation equipment is developed by using the separation technology of comprehensive field and magnetic system design theory.
