what is magnetic separation in science？

PTMS electromagnetic separator is specially designed for the purification of highly magnetic minerals with specific magnetization coefficient greater than 3000×10-6cm3/g, or for the reduction of coarse grinding particle size under the precondition of ensuring the original concentrate grade, so as to improve production efficiency. The grade of concentrate can be increased by 2 ~ 9%. It can also be used as concentrator in concentrate operation with concentration up to 65%.

1. Large grade improvement
Special magnetic circuit design and computer finite element analysis make magnetic field more suitable for mineral separation, release gangue and poor connective body mixed in the flux chain, and obtain high grade concentrate.
2. Low grade tailings and high recovery rate of concentrate
Multi-pole design of excitation coil for tailing control, new mode control, grade of all iron and magnetic iron in tailing decreased obviously, recovery rate of concentrate increased obviously.
3. Feed evenly and separate thoroughly
Feeding in the way of scattering, acting with the rising water, the slurry is quickly and effectively dispersed, the bulk is even, and the washing is thorough.
4. Separate non-magnetic and weak magnetic areas, suitable for ultra-fine mineral separation
Large tube diameter feeder is used to isolate non-magnetic and weak magnetic zone, which is suitable for higher grade concentrate to be further magnetic separation to improve the grade or to select finer grade concentrate, so as to solve the problems of difficult lifting grade of ordinary washing machine and high grade of tailings to be difficult to control.
5. Stable sorting index
The mode of isolating transformer and silicon controlled rectifier is adopted to effectively isolate the impact of the spike (interference) pulse of power supply on the rectifier module. Constant current module is adopted to ensure stable output excitation current under the condition of power supply voltage fluctuation, so as to ensure stable magnetic field and stable ore dressing index of the electromagnetic panning selected PTMS magnetic separator.
6. High degree of automation
Siemens PLC control module is used to detect the concentration of concentrate and tailings and other parameters, and automatically adjust the water supply valve, concentrate valve and magnetic field strength, which can quickly adjust and stabilize the working state of the equipment.
7. Remote control
Siemens PLC programmable controller is adopted to provide intelligent control box data remote transmission and centralized control.
