1. Remove iron sundry items on and around the equipment to avoid accidents caused by excitation current;
2. Open the cooling water of the excitation coil and the concentrate flushing water;
3. Close the main power switch, start the transmission motor of the electromagnetic drum magnetic separator, and let the sorting ring rotate; Start tailings pulse motor and middling pulse motor;
4. Adjust (increase) the excitation current slowly when the cooling water of the real excitation coil has been continuously and stably discharged from the drainage outlet. Meanwhile, observe the rotation of the pointer of the ammeter and adjust the current to the required value;
5. After everything is normal, the pulp will be processed;
6. During the operation, according to the different requirements of the technological process, adjust the ore feeding amount, the amount of washing water in the medium ore, the tailings and the gate valve in the medium ore;
7. Pay attention to the coil temperature display on the temperature controller. If the temperature is too high, the cooling water quantity should be increased, and the temperature rise should not exceed the specified value.
