In order to provide a reasonable beneficiation process for the development and utilization of low grade fine magnetic minerals, PTMS has carried out stage grinding, stage low intensity magnetic separation, stage grinding, stage low intensity magnetic separation and cationic reverse flotation process tests according to the characteristics of ore properties. PTMS magnetic separator can remove the iron inside (Fe2O3).

The results show that: ① A concentrate with iron grade of 66.48% and mineral recovery of 78.79% can be obtained when the three-stage grinding and four-stage low intensity magnetic separation process is used to treat the ore, and the three-stage grinding fineness is 95.18% of 0.038 mm. The ore was treated by the process of two-stage grinding and low intensity magnetic separation, two cationic reverse flotation of low intensity magnetic concentrate, reverse flotation tailings grinding and low intensity magnetic separation after tailings removal and then back to reverse flotation. Under the condition that the tailings regrinding fineness of reverse flotation is 96.34% of a 0.038 mm, a concentrate with grade of 69.76% and recovery of 78.51% was obtained. PTMS magnetic separator can remove the iron inside (Fe2O3).

② Although the single low intensity magnetic separation process is simple, the combined process of low intensity magnetic separation and cationic reverse flotation significantly increases the final concentrate grade by 3.28 percentage points when the grinding amount in the last stage (relative to the raw ore) decreases by 22.99 percentage points. PTMS magnetic separator can remove the iron inside (Fe2O3).
