Magnetic separation is a process in which a magnetically sensitive material extracts magnetic force from a mixture that has been used to concentrate and separate minerals.

The use of magnetics as separators is essentially magnetic for five different types of separation: 1. Drum separator

Drum separators are an important magnetic separator that removes ferrous metals from dry bulk products in free-flow processing systems. They are self-cleaning units consisting of a drum and a casing, usually made of stainless steel. Drum separators are available in both single drum and double drum configurations.

How does it work? The processed material enters the top of the drum separator and flows through the drum surface. The rotating drum in the magnetic field captures the iron wanderer, while the non-ferrous metal falls off the drum into the flow of cleaning material. As the drum rotates, the captured ferrous metal passes through the diverter and is released out of the magnetic field.

The drum separator is an ideal material for separating iron particles and powder. Widely used in the following industries: glass, ceramics, chemicals, fertilizers, plastics, food industry, steel slag treatment, reduction of pyrite ash separation metal PO.

How does it work? The material is discharged through the belt conveyor on the belt. The magnetic roller is surrounded by a conveyor belt. The ferromagnetic component remains adhered to the conveyor belt, while the non-magnetic component is freely transferred at the end of the conveyor belt. Roller magnetic separators separate iron contaminants from fragile magnetic dry granular metals and non-metallic materials. Roller magnetic separators are used in a wide range of applications in industrial and mineral technology. The separator uses high power rare earth magnets with very low dimensional tolerances. The other components of the machine are conveyors and vibrating feeders. The magnetic rolls have different widths and magnetic strengths.
