feldspar mineral processing
PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR
what is magnetic separation method for concentration of ore?
Feldspar is an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal aluminosilicate mineral such as potassium, sodium or calcium, also known as the Changshi group mineral. Potash feldspar (K2O·Al2O3·6SiO2) is also commonly called feldspar. The potassium feldspar series are mainly feldspar, micro plagioclase, and striped feldspar. Potassium feldspar purification domestic potassium feldspar resources are abundant, but the iron content exceeds the standard. Therefore, the removal of iron from potassium feldspar is the key to purification. Iron is a magnetic object, and potassium feldspar is a non-magnetic substance that is easily separated in a magnetic field.
1. Process: Potassium feldspar raw materials - hand selection - crushing - grinding - grading - dehydration - finished products, the process is applicable to raw materials with low iron content and good quality. The pre-crusher is used for coarse crushing and fine crushing. In order to prevent the pollution of iron to K-feldspar during the processing, it is easy to use the turbine, gravel mill or porcelain ball mill, ultra-fine lamination self-grinding machine, etc. when selecting the grinding equipment. As a grinding equipment, a spiral classifier is used to ensure the particle size of the product.
2. Features: The process is simple and the investment is small. The shortcoming of this process is that the iron content index of the product is difficult to meet the requirements of high quality ceramic products. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the process and increase the magnetic separation process, it has been proved that the wet selection process of the wet high gradient magnetic separator is good, and the iron removal efficiency reaches 70%-90%.
