A parallel algorithm based on MPI was used to simulate the dynamic concentration of weakly magnetic nanoparticles in PTMS high gradient magnetic separator. The finite difference method and computer simulation method are used to solve the continuity equation describing the concentration dynamics in the system. The simulation results show the concentration distribution of the system in two modes: paramagnetic and diamagnetic.
