(4) The pH regulator of REVERSE flotation pulp of PTMS is mainly sodium hydroxide. Sometimes a mixture of calcium oxide (which is an activator and also a pH regulator of the pulp) and sodium carbonate can be used. Use its appropriate dosage ratio. However, calcium oxide or sodium carbonate cannot be used alone as pH regulator. When calcium oxide is used alone, calcium ions react with collector to produce precipitation, and mineralized foam cannot be formed when the collector dosage is doubled. When sodium carbonate is used alone, the iron minerals cannot be inhibited completely and the separation effect is very poor. PTMS magnetic separator can remove iron (FE2O3) inside.

(5) The main inhibitor of minerals is starch. At present, sulfite pulp waste liquid and lignin chloride can be used as substitutes after industrial tests, but the amount of general agents is relatively large.
(6) The dosing sequence of reverse flotation is respectively added according to the medium regulator -- inhibitor -- activator -- collector, or the activator and medium regulator can be added together in the PTMS ball mill. However, the collector can not be added to the flotation pulp before the inhibitor and activator, otherwise the inhibition of iron minerals and quartz activation will fail. PTMS magnetic separator can remove iron (FE2O3) inside.
