Kaolin after PTMS magnetic separator processing, can resist high temperature and invariable soft (melting), high fire resistance. The temperature of kaolin from sintering to melting is called refractoriness. The refractoriness of kaolin is 1750~1790℃. The physicochemical process of kaolin from adobe to sintering is as follows: when the adobe is heated from 100~110℃ to 400℃, the adsorbed water is lost; Crystal water is lost at 400~600C. Structure water is lost at 600~900℃.

CO2 is precipitated when there is carbonate, SO2 is precipitated when there is sulfate, and burned out at the same time, metakaolinite is formed after the release of structural water. At 950~1200℃, aluminum-rich andalusite is formed and begins to burn into hard products. Kaolin from sintering to melting temperature interval of about 350~450℃, that is, to 1550~1650℃ can be melted. PTMS magnetic separator can improve product whiteness.
