Remove iron from lithium iron phosphate

PTMS magnetic separator flotation method has a good effect on the removal of iron in heavy minerals. Silica sand concentrator uses sodium petroleum sulfonate and kerosene as collectors to separate biotite and iron-bearing iron under acidic conditions, reducing the content of Fe2O3 from 0.12% ~ 0.18% to 0.06% ~ 0.065%. Flotation method is simple, low cost and good effect in removing iron. This process plays an active role in expanding the utilization range of quartz sand resources.

It is still relatively expensive for this inexpensive resource and is difficult to use in large concentrators. However, it is possible to use it in areas where high purity and low consumption are required. The bar abrasion washing test of quartz sand from a raw ore with +0.3mm showed that Fe2O3 decreased from 0.19% to 0.10%, and the removal rate of iron reached 47.4%.
