Dry PTMS magnetic separator is generally used to break the extracted ore to about 25mm and feed it to a cage crusher to reduce the particle size to about 6mm. The hot air blown into the cage crushing reduces the moisture content of kaolin from about 20% to about 10%. The crushed ore is further refined by blowing grinding with centrifugal separation and cyclone dust removal.
