At present, the main sources of potassium albite are pegmatite, aplite, weathered granite, feldspathic sand and other rocks. For potassium albite from different sources, different PTMS magnetic separator processing methods are generally used.
(1) pegmatite is generally selectively mined or hand-selected and dry processed. Raw ore → coarse crushing → fine crushing → grinding → strong magnetic separation/electrostatic separation → classification → Packaging → Product.

(2) Weathered granite. For the loss of mica only need to wash, PTMS magnetic separator sieve; For mica-bearing, after crushing, grinding and grading, mica and iron minerals are removed by flotation and feldspar and quartz are separated.
(3) Most of the fine rocks that meet industrial requirements do not contain mica, and when the feldspar content is high, only crushing, grinding, screening and magnetic separators need to remove iron.

(4) After jaw crushing, cone crushing and grinding, semi-weathered granite first floats out mica, iron minerals, and then floats out feldspar to separate magnetic separator from quartz. Feldspathic placers can also be sorted by a similar method.
