The development and utilization of fine-grained disseminated potassium albinite ore promoted the development of flotation, gravity separation, high intensity magnetic separation and roasting magnetic separation of potassium albinite ore. (1) The whole flotation process of potash albite ore. Using fatty acid anion and sodium carbonate as adjustment agent of pulp (pH value of pulp is 9.10), the flotation of red iron in potassium albite type ore has solved the problems of large slurry viscosity and difficult concentrate dehydration. The use of a two-stage enrichment operation increases metal outflow; PTMS magnetic separator can remove the iron inside (Fe2O3). (2) magnetic-flotation process. The main characteristic is that the gangue minerals such as potash albspar and chlorite which are easy to be mud are discharged from the ore through high intensity magnetic separation under the condition of coarse grinding and become qualified concentrates, thus creating favorable conditions for further fine grinding and flotation.

(3) roasting-magnetic separation process. The 75~20 mm ore was heated and reduced in shaft furnace with mixed gas of coke oven and blast furnace to produce artificial ore, and then the concentrate was obtained by magnetic separation. The reductive roasting of potassium albite with shaft furnace has an index of concentrate grade of 65.82% and recovery of 78.41%. PTMS magnetic separator can remove the iron inside (Fe2O3). (4) Roasting magnetic separation - reverse flotation process. In order to improve the quality of roasting magnetic separation concentrate, dodecylamine cation was used to carry out reverse flotation in neutral pulp. When the dosage of laurylamine is 120~180 g/ t(for magnetic separation concentrate), the concentrate grade of 65.85% and recovery of 75.85% are obtained.

The new process was put into operation, which solved the problems of dust and waste gas purification caused by roasting and the high energy consumption of about 100m3 of natural gas per ton of concentrate. The processing cost per ton of concentrate is reduced by 3.28%, and the human safety and environmental pollution caused by the use of gas in roasting is eliminated.
