The high gradient magnetic separation efficiency decreases obviously when the magnetic susceptibility of the separation ratio is less than 10·10-9 ~ 30·10-9m3/kg and the particle size is less than 10-20μm. PTMS magnetic separation equipment has an induction intensity of 6.1T superconducting magnetic separator. When the magnetic induction intensity was increased from 1.2T to 6.1T, the recovery of Nb205 was increased from 24.9% to 78.7%. The iron removal rate of kaolin reached 94.6% at 5.6T. The iron removal rate of feldspar - quartz material reached 83.9%.

PTMS magnetic hydraulic separator is composed of a feed barrel, a feed barrel magnetic system, a cylinder sorting chamber, a separation magnetic system, a rake and a sedimentation discharge system. It can not only remove the slime in magnetite concentrate, but also remove the coarse-grained intergrowth body, and increase the grade of the concentrate by 2.5% ~ 7.5%. Coarse-grained gangue mineral intergrowth can be removed by magnetic hydraulic separation of magnetite concentrate. The grade of iron concentrate was increased by 1.2% and the recovery by 3.8%.
