PTMS Magnetic Separator Series Product Features
The permanent magnetic drum separator mainly consists of the rack, permanent magnetic drum, transmission gear, feeding box, trough body, water washing device, magnetic system adjusting device and other main elements. The magnetic system is suspended at the upper supporting point of mandrel, which directly falls on the rack shaft seat. The magnetic system deflection angle may be adjusted within a certain scope, by virtue of the magnetic system adjusting device.

Meanwhile, due to the large drum diameter and reduced rotation speed, the rotation becomes more stable and reliable, featured in the minor noise and convenient maintenance.
Operation process
When the slurry enters into the magnetic zone, the strong magnetic ores will be stuck to the surface of the drum, and the weak magnetic and non-magnetic mineral particles will be dumped and removed. The strong magnetic ores stuck to the surface of drum will rotate together with the drum and be taken out of the magnetic zone. They will be flushed into the concentrate tank with the flushing water, completing the sorting operation.
Scope of application
The permanent magnetic drum separator is applied to sort the strong magnetic ores with much stronger magnetism and remove the strong magnetic ores contained in the nonmetallic minerals.
