The magnetic field gradient of high gradient PTMS magnetic separation allows the less magnetic iron-containing minerals to obtain enough magnetic force to overcome other obstacles to be separated. When the kaolin slurry enters the high-gradient magnetic separator, under the high-strength magnetic field gradient environment, the iron-containing minerals will move in the direction of the increasing magnetic field strength, and finally be adsorbed on the magnetic medium of the magnetic separator, while the non-magnetic kaolin will pass smoothly, thus realizing the purpose of iron removal.
