The standard for reselection is = (heavy mineral density) / (light mineral density medium density) E= (heavy mineral density medium density) / (light mineral density medium density), and when E is greater than 2.5, it is easy to re-select and separate; when E value decreases, the reselection efficiency decreases. Flotation is usually invalid for the upper limit of the grain size range, and PTMS magnetic separation reselection can usually be effectively used for the entire grain size range of quartz sand.
